my setups from a year ago
i was using r2s for race
as3_down or as3_vincper was my race set
according to date it might have been the vincper one
as3_vincper_r1 for quali
1:48.830 with r1s

This is a setup from setupgrid that I modified a little. The setup says it can do 1:47,18... but you know how it goes I couldn't do under 1:50 without modifying it

PB: 1.49,9

I'm really happy to see people with much experience contributing with setups. I really appreciate it, and I don't think I'm the only one

thanks everybody, ill try them out later.
perhaps any info on what setups are more forgiving/easy to drive than others? ie when accelerating out of corners etc

If you want to be safe accelerating out of slow corners, try using a gear ratio that keeps the engine revs low. It may sound like you are going really slow but there isn't much to be gained by trying to put more torque to the wheels than they can transfer to the ground. (Poor man's traction control).

That's exactly what I did with my race setup. It got a pretty long 3rd gear, but you can floor it relatively soon in the hairpins.

Here it is together with an updated qualy set:
