I think you can join every race apart from the events which take place at the Rockingham track.

To join you just have to join the server on time. You can find the password for the server below this chatbox.

Good luck!

Long Laps at Kyoto GP Long
youliftyoulose, Monday, December 31 2012 - 07:38:05 // comment: 6

Race 3 and 4 of the 2nd season of the FZ5 series of Absolute Beginners race took place at the Kyoto GP Long. Each event of the FZ5
series consists of 2 individual races, a short sprint race (no mandatory pit stops) and a feature race ( much longer with 1 or more
mandatory pit stops). A one lap qualifying session put Linde (2:44.20) on pole with over a 1 second gap on Duck Tape. The
championship leader Mazdarati was saddled with a 16% restriction and did well to qualify 6th. Daniel, who had shown decent
pace in practice went off track during his hot lap and qualified a miserable 13th leaving him a lot of work to do in the sprint race.

Mazdarati getting swamped at the start by LRK-racer and Wheldon 77 who both have a little more horsepower on board.

Duck Tape takes a photo finish win over Linde in both the sprint and feature race.

Great report Daniel!
But there is one BUT I am not in LLM but our tag is LV(Latvian Racing Team). Linde and me make unofficial team only for AB because we have problem with active members of our teams for these cups

Nice nice nice!

I think this format is starting to prove it's value. Close battles, much fights for positions in the whole field. Next step: 20+ car grids

I agree. I am big proponent of restricted racing. Makes me think I am much faster than I really am, until I get too much restriction myself of course. 8o|

With Lucas setup in quali I was 5s faster than in practice, and those 2 laps were first time using this setup. Magic.
So I think previous setup might have been very wrong.
But was not enough, only got close to the field when it was passing under the bridge

Featurerace I could not take part due to visitors, maybe laptimes would have improved a bit.
